Return Policy

Here at The Carson Alexander Furniture Co., we take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us to return your item(s). Stocked Furniture can be returned within 30 days of receipt and must be in its original packaging. Return shipping fees and a 25% restocking fee will apply. Delivery and oversize fees are non-refundable. Note that returns are not accepted for special orders and items that have been delivered. Other exclusions may apply. Contact us for details.

Upon return, your item will be inspected. Credits or refunds will be issued for the purchase price. The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. reserves the right to refuse returns of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.

Problem? Let us help. If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage caused in transit, contact Customer Service immediately at or 888-227-0477. We will attempt to repair the defect or damage. If that is not possible, we will arrange an exchange. We will ask for photos to determine the best course of action. All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt.


Return Process

To process an online return please email, and include your order number, item to be returned, and reason for the return. Once the return is approved, you will have 7 days to return the product to us. All shipping costs will be at the customer’s own expense. The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. does not hold any responsibility for missing parcels. We recommend items are returned using a tracked postal service or with postal insurance.

Special Orders

Special orders begin production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications. As a result, the item(s) cannot be canceled, changed, returned or refunded at any time. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be charged when you place your order. For the balance due, you may see an authorization or pending charge on your credit/debit card. When your order ships, the balance due will be charged to your card. See our Terms and Conditions for additional terms that apply to your order.

For all orders that are canceled prior to items shipping, no delivery fee will be charged. For special order items, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Additional Delivery Surcharges

Additional Delivery Surcharges Oversized, extremely heavy or fragile items cost more to ship and thus incur an additional delivery surcharge. This additional charge is listed with the product price on the product detail page and also in the cart.

Arrival Dates

The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. does its best to assure merchandise arrives within the quoted delivery time frame. If an unforeseen delay occurs, we will do our best to notify you in advance; however, we do not provide monetary compensation for late delivery.


Delivery services are available within the United States. All merchandise must be paid in full prior to delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all items before signing the delivery acknowledgment form. Delivery fees are non-refundable.

Color & Finish

Due to the uniqueness and raw material used in some of our products, the color, finish and dye lot may vary on each item. In addition, exposure to light and temperature changes can affect the condition of your merchandise over time.

Space Limitations

Customers are responsible for their space limitations. Please be conscious of passages that could cause delivery issues (e.g., stairwells, hallways, doorways, elevators, etc.).

Oversize Fees

Large Furniture items may be heavy; therefore, oversize charges can apply. This charge is listed on the item page and is in addition to regular delivery and processing charges. Oversize fees are not refundable.


Occasionally, our customers have requested to store their fulfilled order in our facility until they are able to accept a delivery. While we can accommodate these requests on a short-term basis, please be aware that any orders stored by The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. for more than 30 days are subject to a $150 monthly storage fee and can only be stored for up to 90 days. After 90 days, The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. will consider the items abandoned. The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. reserves the right to resell the items with no refund.

Pricing & Information Disclaimer

Our goal is to provide accuracy in all prices, delivery rates and other information. All prices in our catalog and online are in U.S. dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we reserve the right to restrict orders of those items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.


Refunds for returns will be processed when the item has been received in our warehouse. Upon return, your item will be inspected, and credits or refunds will be issued for the purchase price. Please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for your refund to process.

Refunds can be issued in the form of a gift card or processed back to the original method of payment. Original payments made by cash or check are refunded by company check within 2 to 3 weeks of the item being received in our warehouse.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm EST through Sunday, or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone. Shipping rates and delivery estimates Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. Damages is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. International Shipping Policy We currently do not ship outside the continental US. Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded. The Carson Alexander Furniture Co. will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package. Missing or Stolen Shipments If you did not receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible:

We will file a claim with the shipping carrier. Local law enforcement will be involved. We will replace or refund your order when the investigation is complete. Allow up to 21 days for the investigation.
